As the sun sets on another day in small-town Wisconsin, Melissa, a hopeful actress, meticulously counts her tips on the coffee table while her boyfriend, Robby, storms into the room wearing an outrageous dinosaur costume. Both yearning for stardom, Melissa has been saving every penny from her waitressing job to escape to Hollywood and pursue their shared dream.
Upon arriving in the glitzy world of Los Angeles, Melissa secures her first gig as an extra on an indie film set. However, her excitement quickly fades when she discovers the true nature of the production–a seedy adult film with a jaded director and a motley crew of stereotypical characters. Undeterred by the unconventional circumstances, Melissa throws herself into her role, despite being repeatedly misnamed by the director.
Her talent and determination impress the director, earning her a prominent spot in the film. Yet, her desire to involve Robby leads to an unexpected turn of events when he lands a role in a scene far outside his comfort zone. As Melissa navigates the challenges of the industry, she learns that success in Hollywood often comes with sacrifices and compromises, her to confront the harsh realities of her chosen path.

Wicked Pictures has just released So Extra! and it is my sacred duty to tell you all about it. The movie is helmed by Mike Quasar and features an incredibly talented cast, including a lineup of dudes that can best be described as exceptional. Wicked is a studio with a deep history of producing some of the most entertaining comedic hardcore feature films and it would seem that this film has all the makings to live up to that storied legacy.
That So Extra! is directed by Mike Quasar is a big selling point for me. One of the most gifted cinematographers working in all of Porn, Mr. Quasar has been making dirty movies for the better part of three decades, is an AVN and XRCO Hall of Fame Inductee, and an award-winning filmmaker. Highlights of his include such hits as Shades Of Scarlet 2: Higher Power (Zero Tolerance Entertainment), Love Song (Wicked Pictures), and The Hitman: Love Is Deadly (Sweet Sinner). As a general rule, I always make time for new Mike Quasar movies.
So Extra! | Let’s talk about the ladies…
Melissa Stratton plays the lead in So Extra! and this is, I think, terrific. Since getting her start in the adult film space in 2022, Melissa has performed in well over 100 XXX-rated videos, is one of the most popular feature dancers in America, and was a 2024 AVN Best New Starlet nominee. In talking about the film, she had this to say, “This movie will go down as a career highlight for me, not just for the near true-to-life character that I played but also the incredible sense of humor Mike Quasar wove throughout it. There is nothing out there like this feature! It’s sexy, funny and real.”
If you needed another solid reason to be excited about this joint, Chanel Camryn would be it. Why? Die-Screaming did rank Chanel as the best new starlet of 2023. So there’s that. Also, she won the 2024 XBIZ and AVN Best New Starlet trophies. Finally, and most importantly, Chanel Camryn is an absolute banger. For evidence of her hardcore greatness, watch her in this film and then go see what she did in Brand New Girls Vol. 2 (Elegant Angel), Anal Cuties Vol. 13 (Hard X), or Lesbian Stepmother 8 (Sweetheart Video).
For her scene in So Extra!, Ryan Keely is partnered up with the always-excellent Isiah Maxwell. Ryan is also always excellent, by the way. As one of the most elite MILFs in the biz, seeing her name in the credits of a new XXX movie is always something I like to see. Over the years, she’s delivered too many awesome showings to list a full rundown of her highlights in this space, but a few of her noteworthy performances include scenes in such films as White Mommas Volume 8 (Elegant Angel), Moms Teach Sex 26 (Nubiles), and Stepmoms With Stepdaughters (Digital Sin).
Kay Lovely serves as the crowning touch to the So Extra! cast. Ranked by Die-Screaming as one of the ten best new starlets of 2022, Kay needs to be considered one of the industry’s hottest new talents. She routinely gifts us with stellar performances in her films, with examples being Big Tit Office Chicks 7 (Devil’s Films), Slam Piece (Evil Angel), and her recent Girl/Girl paring with Lexi Stone in Lesbian Stepmother 8 (Sweetheart Video). You should probably also want to see what she’s doing on Onlyfans because it is definitely worth your time.

So Extra! was first released by Wicked Pictures on its premium site about two months ago. The movie was just now released to the general public via digital and will be available on DVD in the very near future. The film features four hardcore scenes and has a total runtime of 1 hour and 59 minutes.
